Duties

• Oversee all aspects of civil litigation cases, including strategy development and case resolution, with minimal supervision.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of support staff to ensure smooth case handling.
• Prepare and represent clients in depositions, court appearances, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with the workers' compensation department on deposition-related tasks.
• Contribute to business development by assisting in client acquisition; the ability to bring in cases is an asset.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing civil litigation matters independently.
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Trial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active and in good standing license with the California State Bar.
