Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Denver, CO is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, and assisting in trial preparation. The role requires a strong academic record, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including written discovery and depositions.
• Draft pleadings, substantive motions, and other legal documents.
• Attend and participate in mediations and court appearances.
• Assist in trial preparation and trial proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and provide detailed analysis of complex issues.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and ensure effective case management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation.
• Proven experience with written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, and assisting at trial.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar in Colorado and in good standing.
