A law firm in Reno, NV, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of general commercial litigation experience. The ideal candidate must possess strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and be admitted to the State Bar of Nevada or willing to sit for the next exam. The candidate should have excellent references and exceptional communication, analytical, technical, and writing skills.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in all phases of commercial litigation, from initiation through trial and appeal.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Engage in discovery, including taking and defending depositions, and preparing and responding to interrogatories and document requests.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients and develop case strategies.
  • Attend court hearings and trials, advocating on behalf of clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Nevada or willingness to sit for the next exam.
  • 3-5 years of general commercial litigation experience.
  • Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Excellent references.

 

Education:

JD from a nationally recognized law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Nevada or willingness to sit for the next exam.
