Duties:

• Manage an independent caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys
• Draft motions, pleadings, and responses to discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and prepare written memoranda
• Attend hearings and court conferences
• Depose witnesses and defend depositions
• Participate in inspections and collaborate with expert witnesses
• Engage in mediation and trial preparation
• Represent clients during trials

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in employment practices liability defense or a related field
• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• New York Bar License (Required)

Skills:

• Expertise in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw)
• Familiarity with civil litigation processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong negotiation and client interaction skills
