Litigation Associate Attorney

Title: Litigation Associate Attorney (3-8 Years of Experience)

Job Overview: A respected law firm based in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate should have between 3-8 years of litigation experience with an interest in areas such as commercial litigation, fiduciary litigation, construction litigation, or employment litigation.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a range of litigation matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
• Draft various legal documents including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
• Participate actively in legal proceedings such as depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

Requirements:

• 3-8 years of litigation experience.
• Proven ability to represent clients in civil litigation (plaintiffs or defendants).
• Experience in hearings, depositions, and motion practice.
• Familiarity with trial or arbitration procedures is advantageous.

Education:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in North Carolina or the ability to obtain licensure promptly.
