A law firm in Hartford, CT is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Attorney with 6+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, development, and office, retail, and/or industrial leasing. Superior drafting skills, deep knowledge of commercial real estate law, and admission to the Connecticut Bar are required. The candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic, motivation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate matters.
  • Draft and negotiate complex real estate agreements and contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence and title review for real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful closings.
  • Stay updated on changes and developments in real estate laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong drafting skills and knowledge of commercial real estate law.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
