A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Mid-level Transactional Tax Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in international tax planning work, including cross-border tax structuring and multi-jurisdictional transactions, as well as experience working at a peer law firm or an accounting firm. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with outstanding academic credentials, are required.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and support on transactional tax matters, with a focus on international tax planning.
  • Assist with cross-border tax structuring and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex tax issues.
  • Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and tax-related documents.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and other professionals on tax matters.
  • Assist with tax due diligence reviews and transactional documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in transactional tax law.
  • Experience in international tax planning and cross-border transactions.
  • Previous experience at a peer law firm or an accounting firm.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s Bar.
