Job Overview

A well-established law firm specializing in the representation of homeowner, condominium, and community associations is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The role involves advising boards of directors on corporate issues, managing covenant enforcement, and providing contract review. This position offers direct client interaction and opportunities for professional growth.

Location

  • Boca Raton, FL

Duties

  • Provide legal representation to condominium and homeowner associations.

  • Conduct legal research and review documents.

  • Draft and issue opinion and violation demand letters.

  • Counsel boards of directors on legal matters.

  • Attend client board meetings to provide guidance.

  • Analyze and interpret governing documents, including declarations, articles of incorporation, bylaws, and rules/regulations.

  • Draft, finalize, and record documents related to condominium and homeowner associations.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Florida condominium statutes and advise clients accordingly.

  • Support multiple tasks and provide timely follow-up to partners and clients.

  • Participate in Continuing Legal Education (CLE) training.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.

  • Strong writing and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of Florida Condominium Act and Florida Homeowners Association Act (preferred).

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
