Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with experience to join its defense practice in Irvine, CA. Location:

• Irvine, CA

Duties:

• Manage and litigate general business or insurance defense cases.

• Conduct motion practice, including drafting motions and responding to opposing motions.

• Handle discovery disputes and assist in discovery management.

• Conduct depositions and attend court hearings.

• Prepare for trials, including witness preparation and trial strategy.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

• Experience in civil litigation.

• Must be an active member in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.

• Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in business or insurance defense is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Nevada State Bar (Required).

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.

• Excellent oral advocacy skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with discovery management and trial preparation.

• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
