Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception to resolution, including trial.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents related to personal injury claims.
  • Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop case strategies and prepare for litigation.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies or opposing counsel.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding their personal injury cases.
  • Ensure clients receive top-tier service, keeping them informed throughout the legal process.

Requirements:

  • An active law license is in good standing with the North Carolina Bar Association.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Litigation.
  • Ability to manage high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Experience handling all phases of personal injury litigation, including trial experience.
  • A track record of successfully negotiating settlements.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the North Carolina Bar (or reciprocal state).

Certifications:

  • License to practice law in North Carolina.

Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management tools.
