Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of family law cases, providing legal representation from start to finish.
  • Draft, edit, and file pleadings, motions, and legal documents related to family law matters.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, aiming for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Litigate family law cases in court when negotiations fail.
  • Develop innovative, client-centered strategies to achieve desired legal outcomes.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on minimizing stress and managing risk during proceedings.
  • Offer guidance to clients on life planning beyond the legal aspects of their cases.
  • Collaborate with support staff and attorneys to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas Bar Association.
  • Experience in family law litigation, including drafting pleadings, negotiating, and courtroom representation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, creativity, and empathy.
  • Ability to take initiative, complete tasks independently, and ask questions when needed.
  • High energy, ambition, and a commitment to achieving positive results for clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
