Plaintiff's Trial Attorney

A law firm in Irvine, California, is seeking a Plaintiff's Trial Attorney with at least 7 years of personal injury experience, focusing on trial work. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing a diverse caseload of personal injury claims and will be responsible for leading litigation cases from inception to settlement.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, handling all phases of litigation.
• Work closely with other attorneys to develop case strategies and lead case management teams.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.
• Draft and file legal documents needed in litigation, including discovery disputes, law and motion, and opposing motions for summary judgment.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.
• Serve as first chair in civil jury trials.
• Maintain good standing to practice law in the state.
• Utilize strong research and analytical skills to interpret and apply legal precedents, statutes, and regulations.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of 7 years of personal injury experience, with a focus on trial work.
