Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize case files and ensure adherence to legal protocols.

  • Travel to various court locations (including Rockland County to Riverhead, Long Island) as required.
  • Interview clients on weekends when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration or family law (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply).
  • Fluent in Spanish (both written and spoken).
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a car for travel to court locations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Completed at least one immigration law course during law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in New York State.
