A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Junior-Mid Level Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, exceptional legal writing and analytical skills, and a background in handling complex civil litigation matters, preferably in financial or securities disputes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.
  • Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Assist in deposition preparation and conduct legal research.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Participate in hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client counseling.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
  • 2-4 years of experience in business litigation at a mid-size to large law firm.
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and practices.
  • Experience in financial, securities, or other complex civil litigation preferred.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Federal clerkship or state appellate clerkship experience is a plus.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.

  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
