Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 150 workers' compensation cases.
  • Write and prepare legal documents, including motions and briefs.
  • Negotiate claims and settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Respond to discovery requests and prepare for depositions.
  • Represent clients in court appearances and hearings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to legal assistants.
  • Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar and in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 0-3 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
  • Strong academic credentials and top-quality writing skills.
  • Effective supervisory and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff.
  • Impeccable integrity in handling confidential matters.
