Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated and accomplished attorney to join its Dallas office. Duties

• Provide expert legal advice on transactions, agreements, disputes, and litigation.
• Prepare, draft, and review a wide range of legal documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research tailored to clients' unique needs.
• Represent clients in mediation, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strategize and deliver optimal outcomes for clients.
• Maintain meticulous oversight of multiple clients and cases simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of legal counsel experience, preferably in litigation.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and as part of a team.
• Strong negotiation, research, and written/oral communication skills.
• A portable book of business is highly desirable.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
