Duties

• Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to clients
• Represent non-detained and detained individuals in immigration court proceedings and appeals
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and accurate case progress
• Conduct intake interviews and provide consultations for detained individuals
• Prepare and review various immigration applications, including family-based petitions and removal defense
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations on immigration law updates
• Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients and develop case strategies
• Prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony
• Provide thorough legal analysis to determine possible case benefits
• Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting documents for a range of immigration cases

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in immigration law
• Proven ability to manage caseloads and move cases forward effectively
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in family-based petitions, humanitarian applications, EOIR, detained cases, citizenship, and other USCIS applications
• Familiarity with case management software preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed Attorney in good standing (Arizona Bar Admission preferred)
