Job Overview: A law firm in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a skilled and driven Personal Injury Lawyer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will handle personal injury cases from start to finish, representing clients in legal matters related to personal injury law. This role requires managing a high-volume caseload, providing excellent client representation, and helping clients secure the compensation they deserve.

Location:

Duties:

  • Provide ethical and effective legal solutions to personal injury cases
  • Manage personal injury case files from inception to completion
  • Conduct PIP (Personal Injury Protection) recorded statements and Examinations Under Oath (EUO)
  • Stay updated on current legislation and case law relevant to personal injury matters
  • Build and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with clients
  • Draft pleadings, written discovery, and motions for court
  • Argue motions, attend depositions, and represent clients at mediations, trials, and hearings
  • Lead and manage a team of paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, and support staff
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to gather case information
  • Ensure all case files are properly documented and updated in the case management system
  • Market the firm’s services in the local community as required

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • No history of disciplinary actions or malpractice
  • Strong oral and written advocacy skills
  • Team-oriented and driven by long-term career goals
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of personal injury law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice
  • Computer proficiency

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
  • Active membership in the Florida State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and case management abilities
  • Ability to manage high-volume caseloads
  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and litigation processes
