Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including claims for defense and indemnity
• Analyze and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage obligations and resolve disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents related to insurance coverage cases
• Engage in settlement negotiations and work closely with clients to resolve disputes effectively
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on coverage issues, risk management, and litigation strategy
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
• Stay updated on developments in insurance law and related legal trends
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal staff to prepare cases and advise clients

Requirements:

• Experience in insurance coverage
• Proven experience handling complex legal matters and litigation
• Ability to think critically and apply legal knowledge to diverse situations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in South Carolina
