A law firm in New York City is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on Cryptocurrency Litigation and Regulatory Defense. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in crypto and blockchain law, with relevant experience or a demonstrated interest in the field. This role requires outstanding academic credentials, strong writing skills, and a solid understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies. The attorney will handle litigation matters related to cryptocurrency, provide regulatory advice, and engage in government investigations.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in litigation involving cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
  • Provide regulatory advice on matters related to cryptocurrency and blockchain compliance.
  • Assist with government investigations and enforcement actions concerning crypto-related issues.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs related to cryptocurrency and blockchain disputes.
  • Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with other team members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed of case developments and provide strategic guidance.
  • Stay current on legal developments, trends, and regulations in cryptocurrency and blockchain law.
  • Prepare and present oral arguments and participate in court hearings.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including client presentations and networking events.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top-tier, accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or the Bar in the state in which the attorney practices.
  • 2-6 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on cryptocurrency-related matters preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
  • Prior experience in cryptocurrency litigation, regulatory advice, or government investigations is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated interest in crypto law.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments effectively.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, preferably a top-tier institution.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar or the Bar in the state in which the attorney practices.

Skills:
