Duties:

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality legal work products, including drafting agreements, memoranda, and client communications.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, phone calls, and correspondence.
  • Manage deadlines and work assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Adhere to firm policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ethical standards.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required, including prolonged computer work and participation in virtual meetings and conferences.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar admission in California.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment funds, including private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
  • Experience with secondary transactions, separately managed accounts, and carry vehicle structuring preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sound business judgment and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others when necessary.
  • Prior management experience is beneficial.

Education and Certifications:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
