Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in corporate, real estate, and banking matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, guaranty agreements, and actual estate-related joint venture agreements.
  • Review and analyze title and survey documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise clients on permitting, zoning, and development issues related to energy and renewable energy projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business strategies and integrate legal advice accordingly.
  • Provide comprehensive legal support in bond finance structures and related financial transactions.
  • Engage in direct client contact, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and confidence.
  • Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to the firm's collaborative culture.
  • Stay current with legal trends and corporate, real estate, and banking developments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate, real estate, and banking law.
  • Strong familiarity with commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating related documents.
  • Experience with title and survey review, permitting, zoning, and development, primarily related to energy and renewable energy projects, is preferred.
  • Understanding of bond finance structures is a plus.
  • Strong academic credentials with excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate legal advice into business strategies.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • A Florida Bar license is required; additional licenses in other states are a plus.

Education and Certifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar.
  • Additional bar memberships in other states are a plus.
