Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of experience

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking an Associate Attorney to take on significant responsibility for both pro bono and billable legal matters, including leadership and first-chair roles. The ideal candidate should possess exemplary academic credentials and have 1-4 years of experience working in an elite litigation department or government office, preferably handling white-collar, regulatory defense, investigations, or complex civil matters. Judicial clerkship experience, business fluency in other languages, and experience with international law are highly valued for this role.

Duties:

• Assume significant responsibility for pro bono and billable legal matters.
• Take on leadership and first-chair roles in cases.
• Handle a variety of legal matters, including white-collar, regulatory defense, investigations, and complex civil cases.
• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients.
• Engage in legal research, brief writing, and court appearances.
