A law firm in San Francisco, CA is seeking an Immigration Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience in business immigration. The candidate will represent clients with employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian-based immigration matters. They will be responsible for preparing petitions and applications for various immigration cases, responding to requests for evidence (RFE), notices of intent to deny (NOID), notices of intent to revoke (NOIR), audits, motions, and appeals. Additionally, they will review and ensure quality control on non-attorney staff's work and collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-quality legal services to clients.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in immigration matters including employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian-based cases.
  • Prepare petitions and applications for various immigration cases.
  • Respond to requests for evidence (RFE), notices of intent to deny (NOID), notices of intent to revoke (NOIR), audits, motions, and appeals.
  • Review and ensure quality control on non-attorney staff's work.
  • Attend meetings and trainings, and collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality legal services.

 

Requirements:

  • J.D. or LL.M. from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Active member in good standing of any State Bar in the United States.
  • 3+ years of experience in business immigration.
  • Ability to manage 100+ case files.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with immigration case management systems.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication skills - on the phone, via email, and in person.
  • Proficiency in using case management software, such as INSZOOM, Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, Slack, highly desired.
