Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a talented and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial litigation and business torts and a proven track record of handling complex cases. Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial litigation and business tort cases.
• Take and defend depositions effectively.
• Draft dispositive motions, expert motions, and discovery motions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
• Manage all phases of the litigation process, from investigation and pleadings to discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Advise clients on legal issues and potential risks.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation.
• Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven experience in taking and defending depositions.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting dispositive, expert, and discovery motions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar (mandatory).
