Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a dynamic Junior-/Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will contribute to the firm's intellectual property litigation practice by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and participating in all aspects of case management.

Job Details:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective case strategies and arguments.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of complex intellectual property litigation cases from initiation to resolution.
  • Work closely with the litigation group and experts from prosecution practice groups to build strong cases and provide exceptional representation for clients.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license as an attorney in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar or willing and eligible to sit for the D.C. Bar exam.
  • 3-5 years of experience practicing patent and/or IP litigation at another law firm.
  • Strong foundation in intellectual property and patent law.
  • Stellar academic credentials.
  • Previous clerkship experience, is especially desired.
  • A USPTO registration number is desirable.
