A law firm in Concord, CA, is seeking a Senior Attorney with a blend of litigation and transactional experience, particularly in real estate and unlawful detainer law. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional legal representation to clients, participate in industry organizations, and contribute to the firm's growth and visibility within the community.

 

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal representation to clients, analyzing facts and issues to counsel clients effectively.
  • Address client concerns promptly to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in industry organizations and affiliated committees to promote the firm's visibility and reputation.
  • Represent the firm internally and externally, contributing to its growth and success.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the legal and management objectives of the department.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active California Bar license.
  • 5+ years of experience as a licensed California attorney.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated experience in real estate and unlawful detainer law.
  • Previous litigation experience, including jury trials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients on various practice group topics.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet inflexible deadlines in team environments and independently.
  • Experience in landlord-tenant matters and real estate law.
  • Familiarity with ProLaw or similar billing and document management programs.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active California Bar license.

 

Skills:

  • Strong client service skills.
  • Proficiency in real estate and unlawful detainer law.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both litigation and transactional settings.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
