Associate Attorney needed for New York City office

Job Overview:

This role primarily involves handling Plaintiff's Personal Injury cases but also offers exposure to commercial litigation. Location:

• New York City, NY

Duties:

• Manage a large caseload of Plaintiff's Personal Injury cases.
• Attend virtual and in-person court appearances.
• Draft complaints, discovery responses, and motions.
• Participate in motion practice and other litigation tasks.
• Maintain high levels of organization and time management for case deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on various cases to develop case strategies.
• Provide legal advice and client interaction as necessary.

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Certifications:
  • Admission to practice in New York (or pending bar admission).
• Experience:
  • Some experience in personal injury or commercial litigation is a plus, but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload.
  • Comfort with virtual and in-person court appearances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
