Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Mid-Level Securities Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex securities litigation matters, including private securities class actions, derivative suits, and SEC investigations. Ideal candidates will have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience and a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Handle securities litigation matters, including private securities class actions, derivative suits, and SEC investigations
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies for complex securities cases
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and other filings
  • Communicate complex legal matters clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Work collaboratively with teams to manage litigation cases and client relationships
  • Maintain case files and manage deadlines to ensure efficient case progression
  • Stay updated on developments in securities law and litigation trends

Requirements:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in securities litigation, including private securities class actions, derivative suits, and SEC investigations
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage complex legal cases independently while working effectively in a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters concisely
  • Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible for bar waiver

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the state of practice or eligibility to waive in

Skills:

  • Advanced research and legal writing capabilities
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Experience with securities litigation and related regulatory matters
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
