Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a qualified Family Law Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join its growing practice in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong academic and professional credentials, excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills. Experience working with Probate & Family Court personnel and related forms is required. The role provides the opportunity to learn and grow within a team of experienced family law practitioners.

Location:

  • Boston, MA

Duties:

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to family law cases.
  • Conduct legal research and provide counsel to clients on family law issues.
  • Perform discovery and prepare cases for trial.
  • Interact with Probate & Family Court personnel and navigate related procedures and forms.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to manage and resolve complex family law cases.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and manage caseload effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in family law or a related area.
  • Strong academic background and proven analytical skills.
  • Experience with drafting pleadings and performing discovery in family law cases.
  • Familiarity with Probate & Family Court procedures and personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Valid Bar license in the state of Massachusetts.

Skills:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in family law and working with Probate & Family Court is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for practicing law.
