Duties:

  • Manage personal injury caseloads from inception to resolution, including pre-litigation and potential litigation phases.
  • Interact and negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and maintain positive relationships.
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents as necessary.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards and regulations in all documents prepared.
  • Uphold high standards of client service, demonstrating responsiveness and compassion.

Requirements:

  • An Active Bar license in Kansas is required.
  • 1 year of experience pursuing or defending personal injury law claims, workers’ compensation, disability, or civil litigation.
  • Preferred active Bar license in Missouri.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering superb client service with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and tech-savvy abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the Kansas Bar Association.
