Job Details:

  • Proactively manage family law cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including regular updates, monthly status reports, and conducting weekly case reviews.
  • Collaborate with practice managers to identify opportunities for improving case management processes and client service delivery.
  • Utilize practice quality software to track case progress, accomplishments, and client satisfaction metrics.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as the lead attorney.
  • Maintain compliance with all ethical standards and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in North Carolina with a clean disciplinary record.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience focusing on family law.
  • Experience as 1st chair in family law cases preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technical programs and legal software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in alternative dispute resolution.

Education and Certifications:
