Duties:

• Represent medical professionals and institutions in medical malpractice defense cases.
• Manage long-term care cases and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to prepare and present legal strategies.
• Conduct legal research and draft necessary motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
• Participate in depositions, trials, and hearings as needed.
• Maintain communication with clients and provide updates on case progress.
• Assist in fostering professional development and growth within the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical malpractice, healthcare, or long-term care law.
• Strong background in defending healthcare professionals and institutions.
• Ability to handle cases from inception through completion with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of New Jersey.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New Jersey State Bar.
• Additional certifications in healthcare or medical malpractice law are a plus but not required.
