Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience and strongly prefer employment litigation. The candidate should be skilled in managing teams and directing strategy, with additional expertise in trade secrets, covenants not to compete, pay equity, enforcement litigation, or class/collective action being a plus. Key Duties:

• Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
• Manage all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, motions, depositions, trials, and appeals.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to clients' needs and objectives.
• Provide clients with legal counsel and advice on employment law matters, including risk assessment and compliance.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to achieve the best client outcomes.
• Stay current with developments in employment law and related areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of litigation experience, with substantial experience in employment litigation preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Strong background in handling complex litigation matters.
• Experience in managing teams and directing litigation strategy.
• Admission to the California Bar.
• Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.
• Law firm experience is essential.

Preferred Experience:

• Trade secret litigation.
• Covenants not to compete litigation.
• Pay equity enforcement litigation.
• Class or collective action litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic record.

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California Bar.
