Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of trust, estate, and conservatorship litigation and administration matters.
  • Conduct discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances under partner supervision.

  • Prepare for and participate in trials when cases do not settle.
  • Develop a strong reputation in the Probate Bar and contribute to the firm’s esteemed reputation.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in a team-based environment.
  • Stay informed on developments in trust, estate, and probate law to ensure high-quality representation.
  • Assist in managing uncontested trust and estate matters, with training provided for litigation if needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in trust and estate litigation or administration.
  • Litigation experience or knowledge of probate and estate matters is required.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and multitask effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • A commitment to professional excellence and continuous development in the field of trust and estates.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California (required).
