Associate Attorney for Hillsboro office

A well-established law firm in Hillsboro, Missouri, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Missouri and possess strong research, writing, and organizational skills. The attorney will handle various civil litigation matters and must be able to effectively communicate with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys. Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide thorough analysis of case matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other attorneys.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to manage and prepare cases.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients in various areas of law.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri (required).
• Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and courtroom presentations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Compensation and Benefits:
