Job Overview:
We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join the Denver office of a law firm. As part of one of the largest family law practices in a full-service law firm in Colorado, this role involves handling complex family law matters, including those related to corporate, tax, and estate planning issues that arise in high-net-worth divorces. The ideal candidate will work closely with partners and support staff to ensure clients receive comprehensive, strategic legal counsel.

Duties:

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings for district and appellate courts, mediation and arbitration materials, and marital agreements.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, status conferences, and mediations.
  • Assist partners with legal research and mediation preparation.
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions, maintaining regular contact and providing ongoing support.
  • Work directly with support staff, delegating tasks and assignments to ensure effective case management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Colorado or eligible for admission through waiver.
  • At least 3 years of litigation experience, with 1+ years of experience in family law.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exemplary client service.
  • A team player who thrives in an inclusive, diverse work environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $185,000 - $205,000/year (actual offer may vary based on experience, education, and skill level).
