Duties

• Manage litigation files from inception to resolution.

• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

• Prepare and present cases at trial, serving as first chair when required.

• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in mediation proceedings.

• Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and trial preparations.

• Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.

Requirements

• Active Kansas Bar license (or the ability to obtain one).

• Proven experience in litigation, including trial and courtroom advocacy.

• Strong negotiation, research, and writing skills.

• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively.

• Commitment to client-focused representation and achieving favorable outcomes.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Kansas or eligible for reciprocity.
