Litigation Attorney

A law firm in New Orleans is seeking a Litigation Attorney with Bar admission. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in commercial litigation and professional liability.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of litigation including case analysis, strategy development, and courtroom appearances.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage caseload efficiently and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and legal staff.

Requirements:

• Bar admission.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation and professional liability.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission.
