Duties

  • Participate in transactional work across various transportation finance areas, including aviation, rail, maritime, and equipment assets.
  • Represent clients such as banks, leasing companies, airlines, private equity firms, and other investors in financing, leasing, and acquisition transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
  • Support business development activities and maintain direct client interaction.
  • Collaborate with shareholders and team members on multidisciplinary legal matters.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of transactional experience within a law firm environment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, capital markets, private equity, project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, maritime, or aviation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions concurrently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active admission, or eligibility for admission, to the Bar in the applicable jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Proficiency in contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships.
