Duties:

  • Assist public and private businesses, executives, and investors in distressed situations
  • Counsel clients in out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 11 bankruptcies
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to restructuring and bankruptcy matters
  • Participate in negotiations with creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement restructuring strategies and plans
  • Advise clients on legal and strategic issues related to financial distress and insolvency
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships, providing regular updates and strategic advice
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management
  • Stay current with changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the practice of law, with a focus on restructuring and bankruptcy

Education:
