The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in or experience with construction defect cases and errors and omissions related to architects and engineers. Duties:

  • Handle professional liability and construction defect cases, including issues related to architects and engineers' errors and omissions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and decision-making.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court, including preparing and presenting cases, participating in depositions, and managing trial proceedings.
  • Develop and implement case strategies to effectively manage and resolve professional liability and construction defect claims.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and managing client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Should have 3-5 years of experience.
  • 2+ years of legal experience, with a focus on professional liability and construction defect matters.
  • Experience or strong interest in issues related to architects' and engineers' errors and omissions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
