A law firm seeks a dedicated Senior Associate Attorney to join its litigation practice in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will focus primarily on real estate litigation, representing a diverse clientele, including title insurance companies, insured parties, lenders, property owners, lawyers, developers, and contractors. This position offers the chance to manage all phases of the litigation process, from initial investigation through to trial and appeal.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of litigation cases, including drafting evaluations, conducting comprehensive legal research, and preparing pleadings and motions.
  • Represent clients during hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals and provide strategic legal advice and representation.
  • Work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, maintaining keen attention to detail in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate or commercial litigation.
  • Proven track record of managing complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing with the state bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
