Duties:

  • Represent employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims

  • Handle all aspects of case management, including legal research, pleadings, discovery, and court appearances

  • Attend hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and other stakeholders

  • Prepare case evaluations and strategize for defense

  • Maintain organized case files and meet all procedural deadlines

Requirements:

  • California Bar license (required)

  • 2–10 years of legal experience preferred, but entry-level candidates will be considered

  • Interest in practicing workers’ compensation defense

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Self-driven, dependable, and eager to grow professionally

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of California

Skills:
