Duties

  • Stay informed about legal developments affecting public agencies, and provide training as necessary

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active member of the California State Bar
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of litigation experience, with a focus on public agency or education law
  • Proven experience with trials and administrative hearings
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • In-depth knowledge of California public agency, employment, and education laws
