Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Take and defend depositions to gather testimony and evidence.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Lead mediations to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
• Develop and implement effective case strategies.
• Represent clients in court, taking cases to trial as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Proven experience drafting and responding to legal motions.
• Substantial knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
