Duties

• Conduct client meetings and intakes to assess their legal needs.
• Advise clients on estate planning and business planning strategies, including the creation and execution of related documents.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering ongoing support and guidance.
• Perform legal research to support client projects and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Assist with the administration of decedent estates and trusts.
• Ensure all legal documents are prepared and executed accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Active admission to the bar in Michigan.
• At least 2 years of experience in estate planning, business planning, or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet the firm’s set billing requirements.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active attorney’s license in Michigan.
