Duties:

  • Draft and review a range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Represent clients in probate court proceedings across various Missouri jurisdictions.
  • Oversee and manage probate and trust administration cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain regular client communication, providing monthly status updates and performing thorough reviews of client files.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure comprehensive estate plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, particularly in estate planning and probate.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning.
  • Familiarity with drafting estate planning documents and representing clients in probate proceedings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using legal software and learning new tools quickly.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri (additional licenses in Illinois, Kansas, or Florida are a plus).
