Duties:

  • Research and analyze consumer financial regulatory issues at both state and federal levels.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel clients on compliance matters related to payments and credit products.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and regulatory filings.
  • Assist in representing clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
  • Stay updated on developments in consumer financial laws and regulations affecting the firm's clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the local Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing law, focusing on regulatory matters, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Expertise in consumer financial regulations, including knowledge of payments, credit products, and consumer protection laws.
  • Experience with emerging platforms/FinTech, mortgage lenders/services, cryptocurrency, or other digital assets is a plus.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
