Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a seasoned Litigation Attorney with 6 years of complex civil litigation experience, preferably in asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, and personal injury defense. The role requires exceptional legal acumen, strong advocacy skills, and the ability to handle sophisticated legal issues in various litigation settings.

Duties:

• Manage complex civil litigation cases, including asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, and personal injury defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for state and federal court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on intricate legal issues.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to develop case strategies and tactics.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.
• Maintain accurate and current case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar with an active license in good standing.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in complex civil litigation, with courtroom and trial experience.
• Strong preference for experience in asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, and personal injury litigation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Education and Certifications:
